How will I receive the result?
All the papers are checked, corrected and assessed by the Examination Centre of the Centre for Slovene as a Second/Foreign Language which also issues appropriate documents based on the results of the exam. The candidates who pass the exam are issued with an appropriate Certificate (of Slovene at the Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Levels) which also includes the final exam result. If the candidate fails the exam, the Centre issues him or her with a statement of results, giving information about the time and place of the exam and individual paper performance. The Examination Centre sends these documents (certificates are sent by registered mail) to the candidates who have registered and taken the exam at the Examination Centre; for other candidates, the Examination Centre sends the documents to the authorised institutions; these institutions are then responsible for delivering the documents to the candidates (either by sending them to the candidates or by having the candidates collect them in person).
Candidates can also collect the documents in person at the Examination Centre of the Centre for Slovene as a Second/Foreign Language, but for this, prior arrangement is necessary; candidates need to show an identification document. It is also possible for someone else to collect the documents in question, although notarised authorisation is required.
Information on exam results is never available over the telephone.
