Samostojni diplomski in podiplomski predmet (bolonjski študij prve in druge stropnje). Slovenščino je mogoče študirati enopredmetno ali v povezavi še s kakšnim predmetom. Študenti neslovenisti, bohemisti in slušatelji ostalih predmetov pa se slovenščino lahko učijo kot izbirni predmet.
Degree (BA) and postgraduate (MA) programme in Slovene. Slovene can be studied as a single subject or in combination with another subject. Students from outside Slovene Studies, bohemists and students of other studies can choose Slovene as an optional subject.

Dvopredmetni bakalarski študij slovenščine, ki vsebuje predavanja iz slovenske literature, zgodovine Slovenije, slovenskih realij in kulture ter predvsem slovenskega jezika. Študenti lahko vpisujejo tudi predmete iz drugih dveh slavističnih modulov, tj. iz bolgarščine in poljščine, in iz skupnega slavističnega okvira. Študentje v drugem letniku študirajo en semester na kateri od slovenskih univerz.
Combined bachelors programme in Slovene, involving lectures in Slovene literature, history, life and culture, and most importantly in language. Students can also take subjects from the other two similarly structured Slavic modules, Bulgarian and Polish, and from general Slavic framework. Year 2 students spend a semester at one of the Slovene universities.

Slovenski jezik je t. i. diplomska in magistrska jezikovna specializacija v okviru Seminarja za jugovzhodnoevropske študije, ki je del Oddelka (češko: ustav) za slavistične in vzhodnoevropske študije. Praktični jezikovni pouk in na izbrani jezik vezani jezikoslovni predmeti potekajo v Seminarju znotraj izbrane jezikovne specializacije, kulturno-civilizacijski in deloma tudi literarnozgodovinski pa so po zadnji akreditaciji zasnovani v skladu s konceptom t. i. področnih (geopolitično-kulturnih) študij: nacionalne vsebine so torej glede števila ur skrčene in združene s sorodnimi vsebinami ostalih jezikovnih specializacij (pri čemer je slovenščina v enakovrednem položaju z vsemi ostalimi jeziki, zastopanimi v Seminarju: bolgarskim, hrvaškim, makedonskim, srbskim, po novem pa tudi albanskim in romunskim). Mogoč je tudi dvopredmetni dodiplomski študij – v kombinaciji s študijem jezika kakega drugega oddelka (trenutno imamo študente, ki slovenščino kombinirajo z bohemistiko, skandinavistiko in ugrofinistiko).
Slovenščina je tudi izbirni tečaj (na začetni in nadaljevalni ravni) za vse ostale študente Karlove univerze ter izbirni predmet za magistrande (4. in 5. letnik) drugih jezikovnih specializacij Seminarja.
Slovene language is a degree and masters level language specialisation within the the Seminar for Southeast European Studies, which is part of the Department of Slavic and East European Studies. Practical language classes and selected linguistics subjects linked to the selected language take place within the Seminar as part of the language specialisation, while since the last accreditation cultural subjects, and to some extent literary historical ones, have been formed in line with the concept of area (geopolitical-cultural) studies. The number of hours devoted to national content has thus been reduced and combined with related content of the other language specialisations (in which Slovene has equal status with other languages within the Seminar – Bulgarian, Croatian, Macadonian and Serbian, plus now Albanian and Romanian). Combined degree programmes are also possible, with a language from another department (e.g. Bohemian, Scandinavian and Ugro-Finnic languages).
Slovene is also an optional course, at beginners and intermediate level, for all students at Charles University and an elective subject on the MA programme (4th and 5th year) of other language specialisations at the seminar.
